There will be various free events running in and around London. Some of them are below:
Free Lunchtime Lecture:
There will be a free lunch time lecture taking place on Wednesday – January 9, 2019 at Hochhauser Auditorium, V&A Museum (South Kensington), Cromwell Road, London SW7 2RL between 1 pm to 1.45 pm. The lecture will cover about the history of the Cast Courts and the challenges faced by the team in recent renovation.
Free lecture
There will be series of free lectures to mark 500 years of the birth of Thomas Gresham and one of them will be on January 9 at Museum of London between 6 pm to 7 pm which speaks about how the Gresham’s period changed the economic success of London as it was earlier dependent on continental Europe.
MUSE & MOTIF Exhibition:
There has been an exhibition “Muse & Motif” running until February 16, 2019 at the Alan Cristea Gallery, Pall Mall with free entry. It shows the rare and key prints of twentieth century’s greatest 6 artists.
Curator’s talk at Kindertransport exhibition:
There will be a curator Dr Kathrin Pieren’s talk at Kindertransport exhibition on January 10, 2019 between 3 to 3.30 pm and she will tell about the stories behind this exhibition. Update talk on Palace Restoration:
The Fulham Palace is under transformation and there will be a talk by specialist heritage Site Manager Steve Bevan and he will tell about the latest information on the palace restoration. The talk will take place at Fulham Palace between 3 pm to 4 pm on January 10, 2019.
Talk on Birth, Marriage & Death:
There will be a free talk on Birth, Death and Marriage on January 10, 2019 at Foyles, 107 Charing Cross Road, Soho, London WC2H 0DT between 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm. You can meet Rachael Jolley – Editor of Index on Censorship Magazine along with authors Xinran, Emilie Pine and Gabby Edlin – founder of Bloody Good Period.
