There has been a free taster session on bowling organised by Boston Indoor Bowling Club on Saturday – January 12, 2019 at Rosebery Avenue, Boston, Lincolnshire PE21 7QR. The open day will run from 10 am to 1 pm. Those interested to take up a new sport in this new year can come along to the club and try out it.
The club has its old heritage as it was started in the year 1938. The club is open on all days, Mon-Fri (9am-11pm) and Sat & Sun (9am-10pm). The club is holding day leagues from Mon-Fri, Tues-Beginners league, on Mon, Tues & Wed with Night leagues, Competitions on Thurs & Fri. There will be friendly matches on weekends’ afternoon, Sat – sponsored night league and day league – Sun.
The club is having at present 740 members. They are giving training for disabled members also. They have the facilities of 5 parking bays, wheelchairs and other facilities. They also organise for various social events and a new years eve party. The club is having 6 bowling rinks, free car parking facility, they have 5 star rated restaurant services and a bar facility.
The open day welcomes anyone aged 8 years & above whether beginners or players to their centre. The participants will get Shoes & bowls to borrow on the day. They will be guided by their well trained coaches.
