(1) Free event of Children Christmas Party at Hastings Winkle Club
Again coming back this year also, Hastings Winkle Club’s free Christmas party. There has been organised a free event of Christmas Party for the local children on Saturday – December 8, 2018 at the East Hastings Sea Angling Association Function Room, The Stade, TN34 3FJ Hastings, East Sussex. The event will run between 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
Those children who are aged between 4 to 8 years can take part in the free party event. The event is expected to start with a procession of children if weather permits at 2 pm from Winkle Island. The children will be given with pots and pans to create as much as sounds that they can do to welcome the Christmas happiness. Along with the children, drummers will accompany them and proceed along Rock-a-Nore Road, past the Sea Life Centre and down the Winch Road to the party venue.
Father Christmas will be available to give them a Goodie Bags at tea break. The children will be entertained by the popular Wriggles & Giggles who performed last year also.
Pauline Lindsay – the Event Organiser said that the event was very successful last year and want to continue as like that. The children also enjoyed a lot at the event and did not want to leave the venue.
As there are only 80 tickets available, please get your tickets as early as possible. You can get it from the Anchor, Courthouse Street, George Street, The Fishermen’s Museum and Deedays Yard.

(2) Free entry to Christmas market Thornbury Sheiling School
Students at Sheiling School at Thornbury Park, Park Road, Thornbury, Bristol BS35 1HP have created their own gifts at a handicraft workshop for sale at a Christmas market. There will be free entry to the Christmas market held on Saturday – December 8, 2018 between 12 pm to 4 pm.
You can find the handworks of the special children’s pottery, cards and Christmas decorations. Also there will be a winter Cafe where you can enjoy tasting Pizza, soup and handmade cakes. There will be various stalls of local produces on the day such as stained glass, honey, chocolates, jewellery and a raffle with a chance to win iPad & dinner for two at Thornbury Castle.
