National Grandparents Day has been celebrated since 1978 in the United State of America and then officially observed in various countries on different days of the year. Grandparents Day was celebrated since 1990 in the UK and introduced by Age Concern, a charity. Since 2008, the day has been celebrated on first Sunday of October month every year.
This year National Grandparents is celebrated on Sunday – October 7, 2018. To mark this celebrations, Gulliver’s World has announced that they are offering two free entry for grandparents along with a fully paid ticket on Saturday – October 6 or Sunday – October 7, 2018.
