Free session for families at Scarborough Science and Engineering Week

There has been organised Scarborough Science and Engineering Week from Tuesday – October 9 to Thursday – October 11, 2018 at Scarborough Spa located at South Bay, Scarborough YO11 2HD, UK. The event has been organised by Scarborough Business Ambassadors, the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership, the North Yorkshire Business and Education Partnership, North Yorkshire County Council, The Spa, Sirius Minerals and Scarborough Borough Council.

This year is the 9th year show and the exhibition will give a chance to the students to know more about real life applications of technology, science, mathematics and engineering in businesses. This is a biggest employer led event and open entry from 9 am to 4 pm for pre-registered schools on the three days of event.

There will be a free Tuesday Careers event organised from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm and families are being invited to attend. In the event, around 3000 school students in the area can find more of career and educational opportunities.

There will be participating various exhibitors of big organisations and employers such as McCain, Sirius Minerals, Firmac, Plaxton, Rosti Automotive, Kingspan, Bosch, Schneider, Flamingo Land, Derwent Training, the University of Hull, Scarborough UTC and Scarborough Sixth Form and the Army, Navy and the RAF.
