How to stay healthy? You can find out here with fun at Liskeard HealthFest which will be held on Tuesday – September 18, 2018 at Echo Centre, Barras Place, Liskeard PL14 6AY, United Kingdom. The health fest will run from 10 am to 4 pm. The visitors can get an opportunity to try out various free taster sessions and enjoy food & drink at the fest.
At the free and interective event, you can meet the groups around the town who will explain the participants about how to stay healthy and happy and what are the services available in the area. The Voluntary Sector and health & care professionals will be taking part in this Healthfest who help to enhance the support offered to individuals.
The taster sessions will cover Singing along with Morley Tamblyn Lodge, Music for wellbeing, Creative relaxation and Tai Chi with Ninja Granny.
Andy Brelsford of Volunteer Cornwall will explain about ‘social prescribing’ which is expected to be launched later this year in Liskeard for improving health & wellbeing and strengthening of communities.
