There has been a Free Workshop organised by West Devon Borough Council and run by crowdfunder.co.uk, which is UK’s best community crowdfunding platform, on Thursday – September 13, 2018. The workshop is being scheduled between 3 pm to 5 pm at West Devon Borough Council’s Office, Kilworthy Park, Drake Road, Tavistock PL19 0BZ, United Kingdom.
The workshop is focused on community groups and organisations in Devon to know more information about funding details available through Crowfund Devon.
Crowdfund Devon is an aspiring project that brings for the first time 6 different funding partners together such as Devon County Council, Devon and Cornwall Police, West Devon Borough Council, Teignbridge District Council, East Devon District Council and Exeter City Council to provide support for Devon based projects bringing growth to the community.
The workshop session will cover Introducing Crowdfunder, What is crowdfunding?, its Benefits, What makes a good crowdfunding project?, 3 steps to success and how to access advice and support. So please bring your ideas and get a chance to work through your project plans and find out more about how Crowdfunding could work for you.
Cllr Philip Sanders – Leader of West Devon Borough Council said that Crowdfund Devon is a fantastic initiative for the benefits of community groups and projects in Devon in getting knowledge on accessing funds available. It helps to promote ideas, project or group to worldwide online.
There will be a separate webpage for every project so that it can be reached to the individuals having genuine interest and pledging funds for community development causes. The Crowdfund Devon website will also list a wide range of funding routes available including West Devon Borough Council’s £10,000 fund. He is looking forward to see the projects that develop in the community.
