Brownlow Festival is on now with free entry to the festival and being celebrated between August 25 to September 1, 2018 with a programme schedule for a week. There are various activities such as movie night, talent night, cookery and sports tasters etc taking place. Most of the events are free and some of them are chargeable and donations are invited.
The festival started with the free family fun day and Brownlow Hub 7th year birthday celebrations on 25th August at Brownlow Community Hub. There were activities of circus acts, climbing wall, children’s entertainers, crazy photo booth, barrel wagon and music.
On Tuesday – 28th August, 2018, there is story time for kids between 4-8 years and Community Talent Night between 7 pm to 8.30 pm hosted by Little Starz Academy of Performing Arts NI at Brownlow Community Hub at 7 Brownlow Road, Craigavon, BT65 5DL.
On Wednesday – 29th August, 2018, there will be a session on making footstool using recyclable materials between 10 am to 12.30 pm at Brownlow Community Hub. Booking is necessary and charged at £5 per head. For booking contact Glen 02838312420.
On Thursday – 30th August, 2018, there will be a cooking session where you can try out cooking along with Chef Liam McAvoy between 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at Brownlow Community Hub. Booking is necessary as there are limited places and contact Glen 02838312420. There will be a movie screening in the night between 7 pm to 9 pm with a movie “Despicable Me 3” at the hub. On Friday – 31st August 2018, you can find a fantastic film footage of several years of Northern Ireland at Brownlow Library located at 3 Brownlow Rd, Tullygally, Craigavon BT65 5DL, UK between 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm. At 8 pm, there will be a Quiz Night organised at Eire Og Centre. Take part in it and get a chance to win Brownlow Cup. Eligible age is 18+ years and £3 per head charged. On Saturday – 1st September, 2018 children can enjoy a session of Rhythme & Rhyme between 11 am to 11.30 am where they can find songs, rhymes and stories for kids aged between 0-4 years at Brownlow Library. Contact the library on 028 3834 1946. Between 1 pm to 4 pm, there will be free taster sessions of batte bows, archery, climbing wall, table tennis, art workshops, roller disco and many more to have fun at Brownlow Recreation Centre located at Brownlow Rd, Craigavon BT65 6DL, UK.
