There has been running free cycle rides from July 25 until 31st August 2018 to mark the celebrations of RAF 100 in Lincolnshire. The RAF themed bike ride has been held throughout summer holidays. The rides will begin from Lincoln to reach Doddington Hall which is created for the celebration of RAF 100.
The rides will follow traffic free and attractive routes along the Fossdyke Canal, passing through the fields and woods which was a border for RAF Skellingthorpe. You can enjoy refreshments at Doddington Hall and find interesting facts. There will be talks by air force anecdotes about the services of RAF and its impact on Linkcoln.
Access Lincoln Project Co-ordinator – Alison Mackfall said that it is difficult for the entire family to enjoy without breaking the bank in this holidays. These cycle rides will be an ideal chance for the family, children and friends to get together and enjoy the scenic beautiful countryside and getting the benefits of little exercise with the support of good weather.

Each ride starts from the Hirebike station by the Horse and Groom on Brayford Wharf at 11.30 am to reach Doddington Hall and the participants will return back by 3 pm. Though the rides are free, donations are invited to contribute to Royal Air Forces Association and Jon egging Trust.
