Fireworks Displays
Broadstairs is a coastal area of town located on the Isle of Thanet in Thanet district, East Kent, England. Over the sky in Broadstairs, you can find a wonderful fireworks displays in this summer. This years’ annual event have 4 displays at Viking Bay along with many activities and live music.
There is free entry for the event and the visitors can enjoy the firework displays. But the displays will take place subject to weather conditions. Already two events were got over on 18th & 25th July. The upcoming days are as follows:
On Wednesday – August 1, 2018:
Children’s rides and funfair, Hot & Cold Food at 6 pm
Live music by The Curb Pilots at the Bandstand at 8 pm
Firework display over Viking Bay at 9.45 pm.
On Wednesday – August 22, 2018:
Children’s rides and funfair, Hot & Cold Food at 6 pm
Live music by Helluvaday at the Bandstand at 8 pm
Firework display over Viking Bay at 9.45 pm.

Water Gala Day
Water Gala Day will be celebrated on Wednesday – August 1, 2018 with water based activities across Viking Bay, Victoria Gardens and the Bandstand. This years Water Gala Day will be celebrated with many fun filled free activities and includes:
- At 9 am – Teddy Bears Picnic at Lillyputt Mini Golf
- From 10 am – Kent Surf School’s paddle board sessions (pre booking at school is necessary), beach games & competitions with Your Leisure.
- At 11 am, 1 pm & 3 pm – Magic balloon shows
- At 11 am – crabbing competition (registration starts at 9.30 am), Sandcastle, sculpture competition
- At 12 noon, 2 pm & 4 pm – Titan the Robot will be the bandstand area.
- At 12 noon, 2.30 pm & 4.30 pm – the children’s favourite De Witts Punch & Judy of a tent at Pavilion end of the beach
- At 1 pm – Millers & Sweeps
- At 1 pm – RNLI Lifeboats will be coming to jetty
- At 3 pm – Best decorated beach hut competition with a theme of Bygone Holidays in Viking Bay.
- From 8 pm to 10.30 pm – Live music bandstand of The Curb Pilot
- At 9.45 pm – fantastic fireworks displays
- All day fun – face painting, Walkabout the character, Sea Shanties, Crafts, Gift & Charity stalls along the promonade and funfair on the green from 10 am to 10.30 pm.
