1) Free taster on angling in South Cerney
Would you like to try angling? Then try out the free annual taster sessions held by South Cerney Angling Club as a part of National Fishing month. Come along to try have a go at fishing along with their one-to-one coaching from professional coaches.
There will be free angling taster days organised by the South Cerney Angling Club on Saturday – July 21, 2018 and Saturday – August 18, 2018 at Gillmans Lake, Fisherman’s Rest, Broadway Lane GL7 6DF South Cerney. The sessions are open to all ages and ability, mainly aimed at beginners and new learners of angling and each last for 30 minutes.
The events are supported by the Angling Trades Association & its partners with the aim of encouraging any cultural/social nature of activities to have a go. This is a great opportunity for the participants to learn Lake fishing, know about wildlife in the lakes/rivers and the rules to be followed by a responsible angler.
All the equipment including all fishing tackle and bait, fishing permit & rod license will be provided. Advance booking is a must, as the places are limited.

2) Free taster on Rugby play at Bradford
Rugbytots Bradford has organised classes for Rugby sports programme in Bradford. They are running such classes across 17 countries and it is aimed at Children at ages of 2 to 7 years teaching with fun. The kids will be taught about how to catch & hold the Rugby ball, pass, kick and how to manage in team playing. The programme was launched by the Lord Mayor or Bradford, Councillor Zafar Ali in the district last week.
The classes take place outside the Bradford & Bingley Rugby Club on every sunday from 8th July and from September onwards, the classes will take place inside Beckfoot School. The club is having plans to run classes in the week days in schools and nurseries also.
