Midsummer Fiesta will be celebrated on Saturday – July 7, 2018 at Montepellier Gardens, 24 Montpellier Spa Rd, Cheltenham GL50 1UL and the celebrations will take place between 12 noon to 9 pm. The fiesta features 6 fun fair rides, 50+ classic cars, exciting food stalls, sports & games, 80+ market stalls, 20+music / dance, bars, children’s village, escape room, bouncy castles and treasure hunt. Free entry to Coleford Music Festival – July 14 & 15

On July 14 & 15, there will be happening free Coleford Music Festival at Coleford Town Centre, PO Box 4, Coleford, Gloucestershire GL16 8YH from 1 pm to 11 pm. The festival is a mixture of art & culture community event and has full of fantastic programmes of music of jazz, indie, folk, rock, blues etc featuring in four stages along with workshops, street foods, children’s entertainment, market stalls, exhibitions, demos and many more. The music festivals’ main stage features the performances of local bands, roots stage gives the best music acts of jazz, country, blues and St Johns Street stage will have new bands from the area. The festival will be going to be an opportunity for a friendly family get together. The event is organised by a non profit organisation along with Coleford town council along with unpaid volunteers. Free entry to Medieval Festival – July 14 & 15

This July is on with Tewkesbury Medieval Festival which will be celebrated on 14th & 15th of July, 2018 at Lincoln Green Lane, GL20 5 Tewkesbury and entry is free to this festival. The festival is scheduled between 11 am to 6 pm on July 14 – Saturday & between 11 am to 5 pm on July 15 – Sunday. You can see all reenactors, traders and entertainers from all parts of Europe in Tewkesbury.

The festival’s main attraction is the Battle of Tewkesbury’s re-enactment to showcase the 1471 battlefield.

The festival features performances of entertainment, dance, music, enacting of vintage characters from the past along with carnival parade, children’s activities, medieval’s market, cider & bars, falconry displays, food stalls and many more to make it as a family fun event. The entire town is engaged busily in celebrating the festival and decorated with medieval banners. There is a nominal parking charge (£5) is applicable for the visitors. Free entry to Stroud Country Show – July 21

Free entry for the public to Stroud Country Show which will take place on Saturdy Juy 21, 2018 at Stratford Park, Stroud located at 31 Stratford Rd, Stroud GL5 4AJ and the the show opens from 10.30 am and last till 4.30 pm.

The Stroud show is the Horticultural & Agricultural Show of the Stroud District which started in Victorian times, to showcase the local skills and produces across the locality from pets, farming, fruits & flowers, handicrafts, art & photography etc. This is an apt show for family’s day out as it has children’s fairground rides, trade stalls, charity stalls, vintage vehicles, brass bands, beer tent and enjoy the taste of locally prepared food.
