Free events at Tow Law & Edinburgh

1. Free information event at Tow Law Community Centre

A free information and advice event has been organised by the Wear Valley Community Action Group on Wednesday – 4th July 2018 at the Tow Law Community Centre located at Ironworks Rd, Tow Law, Bishop Auckland DL13 4AW. The free event is being scheduled between 10 am to 2 pm and it is hosted with the support of Durham County Community Foundation & the Big Lottery Fund.

At the event, the residents of Tow Law can meet the representatives of the local charities and various organisations and will receive free advice and various information about the services rendered by them on the day of event.

County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service

The Alzheimer’s Society

Wheels for Work

County Durham Rescue Mission

County Durham Residents’ Association

Auckland Youth Centre

The attendees can get advices on energy efficiency, recycling, home improvements, consumer protection, how to make use of the benefits of credit unions and support for carers etc. The event is open to all ages and there will be free refereshments and buffet lunch provided. 2. Free fantasy poetry event at Edinburgh Central Library

A free event named as “The Poetry Fantasy World Cup” has been organised on Thursday – July 5, 2018 at the Central Reference Library, 9 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh EH1 1EG, United Kingdom by the Central Library. The event will take place between 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

The event will be of more fun and a challenge for readers, groups and schools and they can select the best poets for a fantasy world cup teams from various countries participating in the Football World Cup. The aim of this event is to create awareness and enjoyment of international poetry. The event offers the audience to make their choice of poets for the teams.
