Lymm Festival is on now. Lymm Festival is an annual event celebrated in Lymm since 1999 and being celebrated for eleven days. The aim of celebrating the festival is to promote visual and performance arts by designing the activities accordingly to celebrate with natural environment. The festival is being organised by the Events team along with volunteers team from the community and this year, the festival is being celebrated from June 21st to July 1st.
As a part of Lymm Festival, there are some six events are being supported by the Lymm Library located at Davies Way (off Brookfield Road), Lymm, Warrington WA13 0QW which will take place between 23rd June to 30th June, 2018 for the family & friends.
There will be a free reading session “Read2Dogs” in which the participants can read to a ‘Pets as Therapy’ dog. This is mainly for those whether elders or children who feel stressed and nervous while reading before others. By attending this session they will get confidence & mental strength to read loudly and in front of others. There is also paid event (£2 per person) – Pugalugs in which the visitors can meet the the author of the Pugalugs books Jessica Parish.
The library will also host free craft sessions for children to encourage the youngsters to take part in the festival such as crafts of dinosaurs, frogs and cars.
Strategic Library Manager – Wendy Molyneux said that they are very excited and happy to be the part of the festival by hosting some of the best events in their library. It is a good chance to meet people and make fun in the library.

Free Reading session – Pets As Therapy on Saturday – June 23 between 11 am to 12 noon.
Free Dinosaur Craft session on Monday – June 25 between 2 pm to 4 pm.
Free Frog Craft session on Tuesday – June 26 between 2 pm to 4 pm.
Free Frog Craft session on Wednesday – June 27 between 2 pm to 4 pm.
Free Racing Car Craft session on Saturday – June 30 between 10 am to 11 am.
