“Pause for Wellbeing”, a free event for young people who have mental issues, is being organised on Saturday – June 9, 2018 at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, Gressenhall, Dereham, NR20 4DR.
The organisers welcome Norfolk’s youngsters having mental issues and their friends and families to take part in and make use of the information and guidance provided at the event.
The participating organisations are

- Norfolk County Council’s Children’s Services
- Norfolk Library and Information Service
- YMCA
- NHS Healthy Child Programme Team
- Norfolk Museums Service
Howard Tidman, a Senior Practitioner with Acute Services from Northgate Hospital at Great Yarmouth said that though the event is mainly for younger people aged between 4 to 18 years, they are also inviting parents who are suffering with mental health problems, kids aged between upto 4 years, adults and whoever else interested in mental health and wellbeing.
The event will be supportive and safe as the organisers want to make the things flexible to the participants. The participants can relax and enjoy the wonderful event location, drop in activities, workshops etc. There will be well being workshops and the attendees can get a chance to discuss with the service providers. The interested may come to the Welcome Area at the museum on the day and can get required information about the event.
The museum timings are 10am to 5pm. The schedule of activities of the event are – Activities from 10.30am to 12 noon & again from 1 pm to 2.30 pm & Workshops at 11 am, 2 pm & 3 pm.
This is a free event and there is no need for booking.
