Falkirk is a large town in Scotland located between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Falkirk has its own heritage and unique attractions such as The Falkirk Wheel – the only rotating boat life in the world and The Kelpies in Helix Park – largest equine sculptures. The town has other significant places of attractions such as Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway, Blackness Castle Kinneil House, Callendar House, Antonine Wall and various heritage places.
Falkirk Council have been keenly working towards the development of tourism sector along with the Tourism Businesses in the Falkirk area and organising for Falkirk Area Tourism Networking Event every year. Last year the event was conducted during March month in Polmont.
This year, Falkirk Council’s Visit Falkirk team has organised for free event on Falkirk Area Tourism Network on 30th May 2018 at Callendar House, Falkirk FK1 1YR United Kingdom. The event is scheduled between 5.45 pm to 8.15 pm.
Any business in Falkirk area directly related to Tourism business or whoever is interested in future expansion in the tourism sector can take part in this free event. This event will bring all the businesses in tourism sector across the city to meet and interact with each other. There are various sessions of speeches by the experts from VisitArran and Visit Scotland, updates & practical experiences by the local business groups and Q&A session.
As there are limited places, pre booking is required. If the registered attendees have any special diet requirements, they can email to visitfalkirk@falkirk.gov.uk about their requirements.
