Free Workshop on energy saving for Small-Medium Businesses

Now it is a great opportunity for Small & Medium sized Companies for knowing about how to save energy, thereby saving energy costs and also how to apply for and get grants.

A Free Workshop on energy saving – “Green Business Fund Event” is being organised by the Carbon Trust in association with the Peterborough Environment City Trust and hosted by the Cambridge City Council on Wednesday, 23rd May 2018. The free workshop will take place at The Guildhall Market Sqaure, Cambridge CB2 3QJ United Kingdom and the session will start at 9 am.

The workshop will have two sessions. In the monrning session, the Carbon Trust will provide training on understanding of enery bills, approaches to energy management, how to reduce the bills, identifying major energy consumption areas and accessing for grants upto £5000.

In the afternoon session, a presentation will be given by the PECT about the Business Energy Efficiency (BEE) programme. This programme gives free support to small businesses in the Greater Cambridge and Greater Peterborough LEP area on how to achieve energy efficiency by providing on-site reviews and measures and also how to apply for grants under European Regional Development Fund upto £20,000 to invest towards implementation of capital projects and energy-saving measures chosen.
