Work Ready, a free training session has been taken place every year which is being organised by Albion in the Community and American Express for those seeking for jobs aged & above 19 years.
This year, free training sessions will take place over two days between 9 am to 4 pm – on Wednesday, June 6 at the American Express Community Stadium and on Tuesday, June 12 at the Amex’s 1 John Street office.
The training sessions will include setting of career goals, finding right opportunities, CV writing with covering note, job search, how to handle interview, communication skills and social networking skills. Volunteers from Amex will be the mentors to the participants to train and help them on various things such as how to search jobs, further learning, finding apprenticeships and work experience.
Christine Olson, the Vice President at Amex & one of the mentors in her statement said that Work Ready is a great opportunity for all job seekers whether they are trying for first job or who want a change in their career or returners to job and they feel pleasure in helping them out.
As there are only limited places available, prebooking is required.
