Loughton Festival is being celebrated from 20th April to 29th May 2018 at Loughton. It is an annual festival organised by volunteers to raise money for charity purpose by conducting various events. Below are some of the free events on “Saturday – May 12, 2018”.
1) Sharing of old Stories at 11.00 to 12.00 – Free Session
There is an event of sharing old real stories happened in the past. Anyone from anywhere can bring your memories and share in this session to be led by David Stevenson at Debden Library, Epping Forest College, Rectory Lane, Loughton.

2) National Children’s Day celebration at 12 to 4 pm – Free Entry
Dragon visit to primary schools in Epping Forest and Family Fun Day events such as games, arts, crafts, painting, Red balloon prison Break etc are organised at Loughton Baptist Church, High Road, Loughton IG10 4QU. Entry is FREE to the Family Fun Day and activities will be charged but not more than £2.
3) Tower climbing at 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm – Free Event
Adults and Children over 8 years are allowed to climb the Tower of St John’s Church located at Church Lane, Loughton, IG10 1PD and ring the bell.

4) Free Session on Safety at 2 pm to 4 pm
Free Session on Neighbourhood Watch and Safety by Essex Police is scheduled at St Mary’s Church, 201 High Rd, Loughton IG10 1BB to educate and share about theft, road robbery, scams etc. Free booklets and safety items will be provided in this session.
