Lichfield will be holding a ‘street food celebration’ at the Beacon Park, hosted by events management company Cafe International. The free event will feature the most wonderful and delicious flavours from across the world, along with the theatrics of street food cooking. The event will be taking place on 5th May, Saturday, welcoming all those foodies who yearn to sample flavours of an international fare, not needing to cross borders. There will be a central marquee with a fully licensed bar and other marquees for a Prosecco bar and gin. There will be food and drink specially for kids. Traders are being asked to cater to all dietary requirements, like the vegan or gluten free options.
Nicola Clark of Cafe International said the free event will bring families to the wonderful park to dine together. Street food is increasing becoming popular and this is great support to the mobile caterers, she added. Nicola is also grateful to the Lichfield District Council for support and involvement to make it happen.
