Entries for the annual Perkins Great Eastern Run (2018) have now opened, although the race is 10 months away, along with Anna’s Hope Fun Run. The half-marathon run is one of some of the fastest routes known in the country, because Peterborough offers a flat course. Anna’s Hope Fun Run, the other event, takes place over a 5km course and has seen in the past, entries coming from a mix of ages. Both events will be held on 14th October, a Sunday, at Peterborough. Both these events will have their starting and finishing at Peterborough Embankment.
For those runners intending to take part, free training as in previous years have been organised. To help runners finish the race in their ideal time, pacemakers will be running along with them, aimed at helping a rage of abilities.
