Following a successful run at the Everyman Theatre for Cheltenham audiences, the show, ‘A Gloucestershire Midwinter’, which is dedicated to everything wintry in the past and to present, opens at the Kings Theatre in Gloucester (Kings Barton St), for theatregoers here. The show is described as a light-hearted revue.
The seasonal show featuring drama, song and poetic humour, will be performed between the 10th and 13th January (Wednesday to Saturday), in association with Hammerpuzzle Theatre Company. It encompasses all-things wintry, right from In ‘The Bleak Midwinter’ by Holst, to the ‘Oxford Lane’, a local story. Plus, it’s free tickets on Wednesday, for the ‘pay what you can’ show, but they need to be booked early and donations will be accepted on the day, for the charity Butterfly Garden. Don’t miss the second chance to see it in the county.
