December 29th, 2017 by Sandy

Falkirk Stadium, in the east of Falkirk, will be hosting in the coming summer, a 2-day evangelical event, fronted by the grandson of Billy Graham the evangelist, who is Will Graham. On the 15th and 16th of June, the Central Scotland Will Graham Celebration of Hope, will be held with live concerts from Christian artists included in the event. The Billy Graham Evangelist Association (BGEA) will host their representatives and other Christian leaders from the region, here.

The announcement event on 16th January, starts at 7pm and will be free to attend. Full details will be given to the gathering here, at the Grangemouth Town Hall. Will Graham will be attending it, returning after the 2016 outreach in Peterhead, Scotland. He said he looked forward to sharing the hope, a hope not just for today, but for eternity, that can be discovered in a relationship with Jesus.

Billy Graham, his grandfather, over his decades-long ministry held many outreaches in Scotland. In 1991, he held multi-day outreaches in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh, which was his last campaign in Scotland. Over 3 million people had heard his preaching.

For the free announcement event (16 January), reservation has to be made at the website- celebrationofhope.uk/event-rsp. The evangelical event to be held next summer, in June, is billed as a free event and a family-friendly one.
