Manchester Christmas Lights Switch On event has Pixie Lott attending
The annual Christmas Lights Switch On of Manchester city is a huge free event, with thousands expected to gather outside the town hall, to witness it at 7:30pm, this weekend on 4th November, Saturday. The event has, amongst the guest of honour, pop star Pixie Lott, joining with DJ Sigala, the global superstar and Yes Lad, the up-and-coming boy band. Excitement is building up for the free event featuring a host of performances by stars of stage and screen fame, which includes the leading cast of Shrek, Elf: The Musical, Guy and Dolls. Compeering the show, with help from Corrie’s Brook Vincent, will be Matt Hallam and Mike Toolan, Key103’s breakfast hosts.
Organisers have warned spectators to plan ahead, as Albert Square area will be restricted for access, once it reaches capacity. Bag searches and road closures will be in place during the evening. Christmas spokesperson for Manchester, Councillor Pat Karney, said the biggest Christmas party of the country has just got bigger and Christmas has come early in Manchester, with thousands joining to welcome Pixie. Executive member for culture and leisure of Manchester City Council, Councillor Luthfur Rahman, said Pixie, a Manchester favourite , is a fantastic addition to the already outstanding line-up of performers.
Legoland Windsor tickets free on one condition
Here is your chance to get free tickets to Legoland Windsor Resort thanks to their latest offer. The resort is offering free entry to guests on one condition, to celebrate the launch of the new Lego Ninjango Movie and in time for the October break coming up.
