Hardcore Harry Porter fans will rejoice, as a series of live Potter inspired lectures and vents are coming to Manchester. Potter geeks will get the chance to learn about the inspiration behind and origins of the stories by J.K. Rowling. The free evens are in true Harry Potter-style, like Defense Against the Dark Arts, Divination, Care of Magical Creatures and one based on Hogwart’s curriculum, along with rare manuscripts, books and magical objects from the collection at the British Library.
Four live screenings will be beamed straight from London, from the British Library, to be hosted at Manchester Libraries. Visitors will get to see the mammoth 16th Century Ripley Scroll.
