Free tickets for live X Factor shows

The Live Show stage of the X Factor series on telly starts in the weekend on 28th and 29th October, a Saturday and Sunday respectively. ITV is offering free tickets to the public and if you want to be in the audience, now is the chance to claim a free ticket. All you have to do is just fill in the online form (www.applausestore.com/book-the-x-factor-live-show-2017), to get a chance of winning a ticket . Make your request and choose the date which you like to attend, either on Saturday or Sunday. Allocation of free tickets are on a ‘strictly random basis’ and the minimum age for entry is 16. If chosen successfully, you will receive an email 48 hours prior to the date selected by you.

This weekend, the competition will have its 24 remaining contestants entering the Judges’ Houses stage. It has been reported that Louis Walsh is in a bid to launch a movie career, swapping his judge’s seat. He is set to narrate a new film called Merry Woofmas. Louis is looking forward to give his voice-over in this film, a special Christmas movie for dogs.

 

Art workshops for pop-up street art at London art site

Two days of art workshops on spray painting with experts from U CAN Spray will be creating the work to be up for a pop-up street art exhibition on Wood Lane, White City, at an acclaimed London site – Here After. The pop-up street art will be created at the end of the month, on Sunday, 29 October and Monday, 30 October.

These workshops are an opportunity for would-be spray artists to learn or refine their artistic skills amidst the splendour of the open air installation – ‘Here After’, made by artists Craig & Karl. The award winning workshop formats developed and run by U CAN Spray, is called ‘CAN paint jam’. U CAN Spray is a charitable organisation dedicated to spray art. The Here After installation at the centre of White City development, is fixed in a disused petrol station on Wood Lane and will host the free exhibition of the spray paintings/street art.

All materials will be supplied at the workshops, including masks and refreshments. CAN paint jam will provide the training with their artists at hand to help. To book a slot of the 90-minute workshop go to the Eventbrite website. The £15 paid for a session will go to the charity. Participants can create their own spray painted art work on a choice of vinyl record, canvas or t-shirt, to be taken away. Drop-in sessions too will be available at the pop-up street art workshop.
