Grange Big Local in East Finchley, will be hosting a community festival with the Fun Palace and free events, running for the whole day on 8th October (Sunday). It will feature everything from cooking workshops to live music, from model building to zombie workshops.
Grange Big Local, a community association, decided to organise a fun day for all, thanks to an award of £`1 million, granted from the lottery fund. This event’s inaugural year will host also a Fun Palace for the people, in its effort to put the community into the heart of culture, trying to inspire people to do something new, sharing their talents and passions, and gather together the people.
The free events will also have the West London Ukulele Club and I Can Dance troupe performing, plus arts and crafts with East Finchley Open Artists. All are welcome to the event with a Fun Palace hosted by Grange Big Local, opening from 12pm (up to 4pm) on the Sunday.
