A free training session for charities is being launched on 26th October (Thursday), called Control-R, by Platypus Digital, the charity digital agency. Platypus Digital will be delivering a series of online training sessions for people who sign-up, by using the digital webinar platform- Zoom. Already over 200 people from across the world from charities have signed up.
The digital agency will focus on those who want to brush up on their skills from digital charity teams; on non-digital teams wishing to improve their knowledge; on anyone who wants to boost the impact of their work using digital resources. Students can learn the foundation skills in Social Media, Community Building, Email Marketing, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics and how to plan a digital campaign. Those who make the session, will be able to ask questions and those who can’t can catch up with the recording.
Managing Director of Platypus Digital, Matt Collins, said they have trained through their in-person training sessions, over a thousand UK charities. He added that they wish to impart skills to non-profits, wherever in the world. The integrated course would help students with a solid overview of the modern digital skills they need for work, he remarked.
