The Floating Cinema docked in Hull Marina screening free shows

A floating cinema will be showing many interesting films, docked at Hull Marina, with a week-long programme of shows. The attraction will halt here till 13th August, Sunday. Showing new features every day, the ‘In Dialogue’ film programme of this year has been curated in response to a new major artistic commission of UP Projects, ‘On The Bench’, by Harry Meadley.

The film programme highlights the themes featured in On The Bench, those of determination, perseverance and dedication. The corresponding films on these themes cover a range of topics like art, music, dance and sport. Films from 9 countries, including the USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Poland, Iran, Niger, Arabia, New Zealand and Ireland, will be featured in the In Dialogue.

The floating cinema will be showing on 8th August – Pina (Germany), on 9th August – Cinema Paradiso (Italy), on 10th August – Following the Fleet: Drifters (UK), and on 11th August, until 13th August – On The Bench (UK) and Chronicle of a Summer (France).
