If you volunteer to help at the Head for the Hills festival, Ramsbottom, all the volunteers joining will get 2 free festival 1-day passes with an official T-shirt too. All roles are unpaid and food will be provided free-of-charge and an area to camp too. The festival will be hosted at Ramsbottom Cricket Ground, Acre Bottom, from 15th September (Friday) to 17th September (Sunday).
Available roles at the event include stewarding, manning the merchandise stall, wristband exchange, working in the ticket office and backstage assistance and more. Volunteers should be of a minimum age of 16 and those aged below 18 years will be paired for the first few hours with other volunteers. Acts at the festival announced include The Stranglers, Mercury Prize nominated Maximo Park and Hot Chip’s Alexia Taylor.
The music will be on 3 stages. The organisers giving the free entry passes for the festival Head for the Hills, are The Met in Bury. The festival previously called Ramsbottom Festival was founded in 2011. Tickets are otherwise available for this seventh year of the festival at various prices.
