The Nantwich Words & Music Festival will be held for the 10th time and runs from 9 October to 15 October at Nantwicfh, Cheshire, in England. Organisers of the annual event have revealed a line-up of events and aims to bring original live music and words to Nantwich.
A top line-up has been put out and some of the headline acts include Therapy?- the alternative rock band, Tom Robinson and Band, the British rock quartet and Roger McGough, the iconic English poet. Making her debut appearance in Nantwich Players Theatre in Love Lane, will be Carol Ann Duffy. Seth Lakeman, the folk superstar, will be welcomed to St. Mary’s Church to perform an intimate show. The festival director, singer songwriter Thea Gilmore, a resident here, joins for the 10th time, on the headline acts.
Over the years, the Words & Musc Festival has grown from a 2-day to a 7-day festival. Attracting thousands of visitors, people are offered to attend a mix of both ticketed and free events. Little Comets, an indie rock band will open the festival. Vocalist Beth Rowley will perform to close the festival. Mark Radcliffe’s Galleon Blast is back by popular demand on the closing night.
