Festival of Learning coming soon at Borunemouth University

The Festival of Learning is back now in its 5th year at Bournemouth University (BU) at its campuses and other locations around Dorset, starting on 8th July(Sat) and running till 12th July (Wednesday), of this year.

The festival will be hosting 150 free events and activities, aimed to bring learning to people of all ages. The festival will kick-off at the Talbot campus with a fun filled family day, plus hands-on activities for all ages. A range of activities will be seen on Poole Quay, on the 9th of July (Sunday), for the Festival of Quay.

Events and activities include debates, talks, interactive workshops, sport and professional development sessions, exhibitions and theatre events. On 20th May, the Festival of Learning team will be at Seven Seas Festival, joining the fun maritime activities. You can meet the same team at the upcoming Festival on Tour events.

Genna West, festival director, said they have got a packed programme of free events and activities this year and would love people of all ages to share their discoveries and to engage with their students, staff and partners.
