Crowds of people will be heading for the Cotsworlds this month for an event to mark the return of BBC Stargazing Live, the TV Show. The stargazing event in Kingham invites budding astronomers to explore the night sky. The free event celebrates the return of the show and people will be given the opportunity to stargaze, with Chipping Norton Astronomical Society helping the people gathered. The event will be held on 31st March (Friday), from 6pm to 10pm, at the Daylesford Organic Farm in Daylesford (Kingham).

The popular show BBC Stargazing Live, will be back on TV screens again, on 28th, 29th and 30th March. With the team broadcasting from Australia live, that has Prof. Brian Cox and comedian Dara O’Brian as hosts too. Many events of stargazing are being organised across the UK to coincide with this TV show and free event, with a number of Observatories and Astronomical Societies opening their doors to the public. Go Stargazing aims to promote astronomy to the wider audience and helps people all year round to find a stargazing event.
