A programme of temporary exhibitions has been announced for 2017 by the Nantwich Museum (Cheshire). The exhibitions showcase talent and provide a variety of art and heritage events. The 2016 Nantwich Camera Club exhibition runs up to the 21st of January at the Millennium Gallery, on its concluding week, an interesting exhibition of prints and projected images. But the 2016 Nantwich Camera Club exhibition opens in September. The Road To The Battle Of Nantwich is the opening exhibition at Your Space Gallery. Following, will be Civil War Tours running on Holy Holy Day Saturday, the 28th January, including a Musketry Demonstration, plus music of Forlorne Hope. The exhibition ‘Shared Space’ by Margueriter Turner is at the end of February. It is followed by the Rotary Children’s Art annual competition.
An exhibition by Nicholas Ferenczy called Talking Pictures, will include poetry readings and practical art workshops. Celebration of William Shakespeare by John Harrison is at the end of March. The museum’s Research Group has a summer exhibition prepared, focusing on particularly the river around Nantwich. In late spring the annual exhibition of Schoolzfest is scheduled. From end of May the Crewe and Nantwich U3A Photography will be exhibited. Some other events are children’s workshop and occasional talks. The year closes with Lay Bayliss’s A Story to Tell. There is free entry to the exhibitions, but some events are charged.
