One of the highlights of the year long celebration of ‘The Year of Making Sheffield’, from March 2016 to March 2017, is the special free event ‘Year of Making Showcase’, at the Crucible Theatre in the city centre. The event is being hosted by Rob Hastie, the new Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres, on Tuesday (15th November), as a free event where anyone can attend.
The year long festival celebrates the past, present and future of Sheffield, as a city of makers. It promotes the city’s intentional reputation for innovation and excellence and as a world city.
