The free event in King’s Lynn, Fawkes in The Walks at Lynn’s park, is an annual free fireworks display that returns on 4th November (Friday) this time, in its 8th year of celebration. This year’s event sees a traditional bonfire and a spectacular firework display, promising to be as impressive as before.

The event starts at 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6:30pm by Mayor David Whitby and the fireworks display will be at 8pm. The park will be packed with rides and stalls. The dazzling display is a highlight of Lynn’s winter events. On that evening visitors coming have to enter The Walks from Tennyson Avenue entrance, as the entrance via Seven Sisters/Exton Road is being closed from 7:30pm onward.

Councillor Elizabeth Nockolds said Fawkes in The Walks is seen as a perfect way to celebrate Bonfire Night by the whole family. She remarked that The Walks is a great venue for the free event which offers an opportunity for everyone to enjoy a fireworks display in a safe, controlled environment.
