A free drama workshop for youth is to be hosted on 27th October at the Moulsoe Millennium Hall, in Milton Keynes. The Big Bold Youth workshop will be held from 6pm to 10pm. The taster will aim at helping to boost confidence of local participants, the budding young actors, and has a mix of improvisation and drama games. The youth will be taught over three sessions. One is for 6 to 10 year-olds , from 6pm to 7pm. Another for 10 to 14 year-olds from 7pm to 8:20pm and then for 14 to 18 year-olds, from 8:20 to 10pm.
Big Bold Youth has provided free drama workshops in London and Lincolnshire and also is working with local schools. They aim to provide accessible drama activities that are affordable for young people. Its founder, James Percy-Smith, a Moulsoe resident too, said they were excited to bring these activities to Newport Pugnell and though art funding is getting scarce, he is determined to give young people opportunities without worrying about money.
Peter Dodman is The Carrington Arms restaurant’s owner sponsoring the workshop and proud to support and work with local businesses for this.
