The Broadwalk Centre will see four-wheeled movie stars driving in, as the Edgware shopping centre in London launches on 17th September, a free parking competition. The new Number Plate Lottery is a campaign to promote the centre’s car park, by offering customers, parking in the car park, a chance to win a whole month of free parking.
The pair of cars, both replicas, one the famous Batmobile from the 1989 movie and the other the Ecto-1 of the Ghostbusters film of 1984, will roll in at 12pm into the centre. People can not only view the iconic movie cars on the Saturday, but also participate in the number plate lottery by simply parking in the car park (except the commuter parking zone). By entering into the lottery, they can chance to win a special voucher, as one vehicle is chosen at random every week. The winners of the vouchers get notified when they are placed on their car wind-shields.
Manager of The Broadwalk Centre, Angela Brooks, said that the free parking lottery is a great and fun way to highlight the parking facility with over 1,000 spaces and reward customers. The launch event hosting such iconic vehicles is also a photo opportunity for film buffs and families, she added.
