August 29th, 2016 by Sandy

Free activity sessions by Run England will be hosted for people with disabilities on every Thursday, at Queen ‘s Park in Loughborough (Leicestershire). The free sessions run from 11am to 12pm and will Will Goodbourne will help in running the sessions. The sessions developed to accommodate people with disabilities, are open to all those aged 12 years and above, and allow wheelchair users, but under-16s should be accompanied by an adult.

Will Goodbourne pointed to the benefits in physical activity and the feel good factor, help to maintain right weight, social interaction, reduce chances of developing chronic diseases and protection against common cold. He added that disabled people fail to get involved and to help break this and also to celebrate the Paralympics, they are providing these free inclusive sessions. He typifies the reasoning behind the sessions by citing one of the regulars called Joe to the Loughborough classes, who has cerebral palsy.
