Free Humber Car Show arrives this weekend at KCOM Stadium

August 18th, 2016 by Sandy

The KCOM Stadium is all set to stage the Humber Car Show. Returning for the third year, the ever popular free charity show in Kingston upon Hull, will see thousands of people coming to the venue that will be surrounded by hundreds of top-end cars. The show on Sunday (21 August) starts  at 10am, to run until 4pm. The cars on show include the Ferrari 360 Spider, an Aston Martin Vantage and the Lamborghini Avantador.
The show this year was put in doubt when hosts of the previous 2 years Humber Bridge backed out.  However bosses at the KCOM stadium stepped in to save the event. Rich Williams, organiser, expects more than 10,000 visitors, who will be treated to supercars (totalling £2 worth) and over 400 different modified club cars. He said they have a fantastic day planned and there will be something for the whole family, as there will be also various stalls, live music and go-karts for kids. Everybody can enjoy it. This year too the free event will be raising money for Cash for Kids, after successfully raising for them some £2,800 last year.
