Volunteer for Oxfam and get free festival tickets

August 5th, 2016 by Sandy

If you have run out of cash, but still love to have a festival experience, stewarding opportunities with Oxfam, the charity, can help you out. The charity in return for stewarding services, offer you free tickets to a number of festivals. Contribute typically for three 8-hours shifts, over the course of the weekend at a site, and also enjoy freely the music normally after duties for the rest of the time when there. You will also be provided with unlimited tea and coffee, a secure campsite with phone chargers, showers, toilets and meal vouchers too. Spaces are offered for Boardmasters, Boomtown, Bestival, Leeds and Beautiful Days.

Those who have volunteered for 2 hours or more, get priority on application in the next summer and most likely a sure place for a stewarding role at Glastonbury, plus free tickets to festivals. Oxfam spends on worthy causes to help impoverished people all over the world, by raising £1 million every summer through this initiative. Those who wish to apply for a stewarding role at a festival visit the Oxfam website (http://www.oxfam.org.uk/get-involved/volunteer-with-us).
