Get ready for the StrEat Food and Family Fun Festival
Foodies are in for a treat, as UK’s First National Street Food Festival will take place in Valley Gardens, on Cornwall Road, Harrogate, from 26th to 29th August. The festival will feature 75 of Britain’s finest Street Food Traders. Hosted also will be a Fine Dining TeePee and a Craft TeePee and others at the TeePee Village, plus an array of quirky units, vintage vans and servings of Italian, Mexican, Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, French, English, American dishes and much more.
Valley Gardens will host the quirkiest of entertainers and individual performers, ever seen in one place. Eat, drink and relax on Vintage Deckchairs or into a bean bag. All interactive activities are free for children of all ages. The sunset will see DJ Swoolish coming on stage with his vinlys, with an eccentric mix of blue grass, mambo, boogie woogie, boogaloo and calyps. Interactive activities are free. The Batmobile is visiting Willow Brook Centre
The Dark Knight will ride into town on his Batmobile to arrive at the Willow Brook Centre of Bradley Stoke, on 28th July, Thursday. The free event will take place from 11:00am to 3:00pm and on display at the town square, will be the Batmobile, that featured in the 1989 film, for visitors and families to view. Selfies can be clicked with the Caped Crusader present there. Other comic book superheroes too, such as, Optimus Prime, Iron Man and Spiderman will be walking about throughout the day.
There will be a craft workshop and young ones can win a treat on a superhero trail going around the retailers. Andy Wynn, manager of Willow Brook Centre, said retailers and centre staff are looking forward to see the iconic Batmobile car of Hollywood and it is sure to draw in comic book fans and youngsters alike.
