Artists across Swindon are prepared to open up doors of their studios for the Swindon Open Studios event which wilt be returning in September, on its first two weekends. The free event will have more than 50 artist open up their studios or homes to the general public, to give them a chance to know more about the artist and their creative work.
Members of the Swindon Open Studios have already this year successfully collaborated with the Swindon Festival of Literature, sharing their work with residents. They had created a series of miniatures. These were displayed throughout May, outside the auditorium of the Arts Centre, during the festival.
The free event of the Swindon Open Studios will be held on 3rd and 4th September (on Saturday and Sunday) and then on 10th and 11th September (on Saturday and Sunday).
