A free programme of water safety sessions and outdoor swimming for children will be coming back this summer to the Lake District. The event, the Swim Safe sessions, is being held for the first time at Rayrigg Meadow (alongside Windermere), which will be held between 25th July and 13th August this year. Special sessions for school going children will be held from 4th July to 15th July.

The sessions are interactive, practical, educational and also fun. Each free session will have a lifeguard for a land-based safety session and a swimming teacher for the in-water tuition. Participants at the free session will be provided swimming hats and t-shirts with also a free goody bag. Bookings are open for the programme and can be done at the website- swimming.org/SwimSafe. Otherwise just come on the day to the venue.
