The free food festival has arrived on the Hove Lawns, this weekend, hosting the Spring Harvest Festival, brought in by the Brighton and Hove Food & Drink Festival, a celebration of food and drink in Sussex. It also includes the English Wine Week, Taste the World, Live Food Show and Children’s Food Festival. All the free events are taking place over the course of this bank holiday weekend.
The Hove Lawns will see Sussex and Hove Market host over 80 stalls. This Sunday will feature street-food vendors, restaurateurs and food producers. Watch 45-minute demonstrations at the Live Food Show, featuring top chefs of the city. The Children’s Food Festival will be featuring edible fun and games. There will be crafts, face painting, entertainment, plus interactive making and tasting activities.
The Dogs Dinner event is a delight for all canine lovers. The Taste of the World will feature food from around the world. Learn to craft gin or vodka drinks, plus get advice on botanicals. The English Wine Week will see UK’s top wine producers present at the free event.
