Aylesbury to host free sessions about sexual child exploitation

Aylesbury will be hosting in June, two information sessions about child sexual exploitation, at Mandville School in Ellen Road. These free sessions are on 15th June (Wednesday) and held from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. The other session is on 28th June (Tuesday) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, to be held at The Grange School, Wendover Way.

Barnardo’s R U Safe team will begin with a short introductory talk. It will be followed by a drop-in market-place. Here the senior staff from Children’s Social Care of Bucks County Council will interact with the public, answering questions and giving help and advice. Staff from Thames Valley Police, council’s Youth Service teams and Barnardo’s RU Safe, too will be present.

The free sessions cover about what is child sexual exploitation, how to spot it and how to report concerns. The same free sessions are to be held from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, on other dates and locations, as follows: 14 June in Buckingham, at Buckingham School, London Road; 21 June in Chesham, at Chiltern Hills Academy, Chartridge-Lane; 23 June in High Wycombe, at Cressex School, Holmer’s-Lane.
