Free storytelling session for children at Ely Library

The Ely Library will be hosting on 1^st June a free storytelling event by the local children’s author, Maggie Jeffery. She will be reading a few of her stories and also talking about beig an author a the session in Ely, Cambridgeshire. She lives here with her husband Bob. She has a new series ‘The Colour Fairies’, and is known to have 16 stories written so far. All of these are complete stories in themselves but they follow the lives as time goes by, of the characters involved. Each book has an educational slant to it, where 3 to 7 year-olds learn about colour mixing, asked to draw , find out facts or even write a story, she said. The free event is on a Wednesday and runs from 10:30am to 11:30am, suitable for children of all ages.
