Free sailing sessions on Open Day at Snettisham beach

May 10th, 2016 by Sandy

Snettisham Beach Sailing Club will hold its annual Open Day on 14th May, Saturday, from 10am onwards. The club will open its doors to everyone, as part of the ‘Push The Boat Out’ initiative by Royal Yachting Association, to promote sailing and discover champions like Ben Ainslie.

Everyone is welcome to try sailing for free at Snettisham (Norfolk). Free taster sessions on the sea will start from 12:30am, going on all through the day. The clubhouse has been improved by winter work worth £100,000. There is no need to book in advance for the day. So, everyone can just come along to the event, with a change of clothes, a wind-proof top, a towel and footwear that can be wet.

People with no experience and of all ages, from 8 years upwards, are welcome to try out the free taster sessions on the open day. But children have to be accompanied by an adult, who need not sail. More information is available at the website- snetbeach.co.uk.
