Get hold of free tickets to the BBC Radio event in Exeter. There are some 50,000 tickets available for Radio-1’s Big Weekend 2016 in Exeter, to be held in May, and details have been released now. Free tickets will be available to music fans for the event, to be hosted over the weekend, on 28th May and 29th May. It will feature headline performances of the likes of Ellie Goulding, Jake Bugg, Bring Me The Horizon and Coldplay.
The tickets for the free event at Powderham Castle will be released on 4th April, Monday, at 8:00am and are expected to be taken up very quickly. Using the links to the Radio One Big Weekend website, the tickets can be booked online (www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/2GSBbRdjtj1nt08BPXpHlXJ/ticket-information). So, those wanting a free ticket will have to register online (paying an admin fee) prior to 4th April, to get on the morning the chance to claim a ticket. Residents living within the area covered by Teignbridge Distinct Council and Exeter City Council, will be reserved 60% of the free tickets. Another 35% will be for those living in the surroundings of South West, having post codes of Dorchester (DT), Taunton (TA), Plymouth (PL), Truro (TR), Torquay (TQ) or other Exeter (ES) postcodes.
