Free equine demonstration evening about the Working Hunter

A demonstration evening on the process for Working Hunter will be free-to-attend and an open to all event, at the Antwerp arena, at Bangor’s Gransha Equestrian Centre, on the 23rd February (Tuesday). The doors will be open from 7:00pm and at 7:30pm the demonstration will start off. The demonstration is to guide the participants through the Working Hunter Process. CAFRE, or the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise, joins hands with the society of Northern Ireland, the Irish Draught-Horse Society, to bring you this event. Some emphasis will be on Irish Draught Performance class of Balmoral show.

The demonstration will cover all aspects of Working Hunter classes. People will be shown how to prepare their horses in the weeks prior to the show and what to wear or how to present the horses. It will focus on what the judge is looking for, or expecting, on the day of the show. All are welcome and just bring a chair to sit in the arena.
